Millet Turkey Sandwich



Ingredients

1 lb. ground turkey

½ cup black beans, cooked

2 cups Millet, cooked

3 eggs

2-3 T. Nothwoods Fire Seasoning (find at Penzeys Spices)

1 cup bread crumbs, plain or Italian

¼ cup chives, chopped

¼ cup parsley, chopped

Buns, slider rolls or small dinner rolls

1 head green leaf lettuce



Spicy Mayo Spread:

½ cup Mayonnaise

1 t. Northwoods Fire Seasoning



Directions

In a bowl combine all of the ingredients and thoroughly combine using hands. Form into 2 oz. patties. Cook on a preheated oiled grill or grill pan for about 4-5 minutes. Patties should be fully cooked with no pink in the middle. When patties come off the grill, place the buns, lightly buttered, on the grill to toast. Spread a layer of the spicy mayo spread on bun, top with turkey patty and lettuce leaf. Enjoy!
